

RETURNING CLIENT
Welcome back! As a returning client you have a few options for appointment styles which can be found on my booking site. Simply click the Book Now link below to review the online booking services. As a return client who is receiving a Curly Cut and Style service (cut and wash) please make sure you ask which time duration (1.5 hour or 2 hour) would be best fit for you before booking. Appointment time is based upon density & length. If you've been informed on which time duration is best for you then charge forward! Otherwise, please visit the contact section at the top of the menu. It is important that you reserve the proper amount of time to ensure you are given the absolute best service possible.
BOOKING POLICY
APPOINTMENT
Please help me provide the best experience for you by following the curl preparation guidelines. Individuals who fail to follow the preparation guideline will be charged a $50 fee, and if time does not permit will be asked to reschedule and a mandatory cancellation fee of 50% of the services reserved will be applied to the card on file. This includes those who arrive with DAMP or TANGLED hair.
When attending your appointment, bringing additional people is NOT permitted due to the size of KCS. Any extra persons will be asked to remain in the waiting area for the entirety of the appointment. Children receiving a service who are 18 years of age or younger may be accompanied by a parent/guardian during the duration of the appointment.
CANCELLATIONS
Life happens and I totally understand! However, please make any cancellations at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to cancel/reschedule 24 hours prior to your appointment will result in a fee of 50% of the services reserved. Charges will be applied to the card on file.
LATE ARRIVALS
If for any reason you believe you will not be able to arrive at your scheduled appointment time, please notify by call or text. Arrivals after 15 minutes past the scheduled appointment time will result in a $50 late fee. Arrivals past 15 minutes need to be rescheduled & 50% of the services reserved will be applied to the card on file.
NO-SHOWS
I am so honored to have you in my chair, but please remember if you do not cancel your appointment or forget to show up I miss the opportunity to offer that availability to someone else. If you do not show up to your scheduled appointment then 50% of the services reserved will be applied to the card on file.
REFUNDS
Kalamazoo Curl Studio does not refund on services or products. Exchanges may be made on products of equal or lesser value within 7 days of the original purchase date. No exceptions.
To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please find the cancelation link that is located in your email reminders or email at least 24 hours in advance to kzoocurlstudio@gmail.com.
APPOINTMENT PREP
Please arrive with your curls freshly cleansed, preferably day 1 or day 2 curls.
Your curls MUST be completely dry & detangled. Damp or partially dry hair will result in a $50 fee. Curls that are excessively tanged will result in a $50 fee, as well. If the curl preparation is not followed and time does not permit to make corrections to the curl prep, then the guest will kindly be asked to reschedule & submit a mandatory cancellation fee of 50% of the services reserved which will be applied to the card on file.
Arrive with minimal styling products. Avoid any/all heavy butters, oils or hard, crunchy products like gels. Please avoid the use of sulfates, or silicones at least 4 weeks prior to your appointment.
Arrive with your curls styled down and hanging freely in their most natural state. This means avoiding ponytails, bobby pins, braids, hats, clips, or any protective styling that may distort the natural curl pattern.
